I have just seen these tributes and they have all brought tears to my eyes. Every morning I wake up I have a coffee and a wee cry.
I miss my wife so very much. She not only left a massive legacy in education but she did so as a wife and mother.
The way Bobbie died was heroic. She is the bravest person I have ever known. She took death with true dignity and grace.
I will never recover from her death..
Thank you for all your lovely comments..

Bobbie, you came in to my life as a colleague and then we became great friends. From day dot, you were ACE! Giggles, laughs and smiles. Listening, chatting, supporting, appreciating and celebrating each other. We were truly blessed on every level. I miss you greatly and always will. I will hold you and all that you taught / shared with me close and ensure your light always shines. You were truly remarkable dearest Bobbie. Thank you for inspiring me and being part of my journey.

If not for Bobbie taking a chance on me, a young recently qualified teacher who hadn’t managed to complete their NQT year, I’d never have become the teacher I am now. I also would never have met my now wife who was working at Sun Academy, we will always have her to thank for bringing us together.
She was always so happy to support and nurture people and if brought her great joy.
