Bobbie, Words just don’t seem enough, but here goes. I remember meeting you for the first time back in 2016. I’d just come back from maternity leave into a new role. It was a new structure, you weren’t necessarily sold on it yet or how it would work but we quickly developed a trusting and valued relationship whereby we were both completely comfortable professionally challenging each other. I remember being struck by how fiercely loyal you were to the team at Sun and vice versa. It was clear to me that they respected you in such a way that you’d clearly earned that respect by being ‘firm but fair’, to use your words. You got the balance just right. I also quickly learnt how important family was to you and how you encouraged others to put family first. You were so proud of your children and their achievements and it was beautiful to hear you talk about them. We’ve had some laughs over the years and I will truly miss you. Thanks for being you - a genuine, caring and fun person to work alongside. A final ‘cheers ears’ to you Bobbie. May you rest in eternal peace xx
